(305) 672-2898 In the past months Haiti has been devastated by 4 hurricanes and a doubling of food and gas prices. In the wake of the storms people are struggling to rebuild their lives. Basic necessities such as food, water and clothing are hard to come by and have becoming increasingly out of reach for the great majority of Haitians. One basic necessity which has also become scarce is hope. Hope cannot be bought in the market, nor can it be found at the bottom of a donated bag of American rice, but that does mean that it cannot be found in Haiti and everyone is searching for it. One source of hope during these difficult times is a young Haitian artist named Rosemond Jolissaint who will be making his first trip to Miami this week.
